Emperador Inc., the liquor unit of Alliance Global Group Inc., said it posted a recurring net income of P7 billion in 2019, up 5 percent from 2018 on double-digit growth in revenues.
Emperador said in a disclosure to the stock exchange the 2019 sales rose 10 percent to P51.6 billion on strong performance of domestic and international businesses.
“Last year’s stellar performance is a continued testament to our premiumization and globalization strategy for our renowned brandy and whisky products ranging from mainstream to luxury sold in over 100 countries,” Emperador president Winston Co said.
Co said 2019 was another excellent year for the Scotch whisky segment with the business again growing in every major region of the world.
