Membership grocery retailer Landers Superstore is expanding its partnership with Megaworld Corp. with the construction of a new store in Bacolod City.
Megaworld said in a statement released Tuesday Landers is opening a new store on a 25,000-square-meter lot inside its township development, The Upper East in Bacolod.
This will be the first Landers Superstore in Western Visayas, and the second one outside of Luzon.
“We are very happy and excited to host another Landers in our township. This time, inside The Upper East township in Bacolod, which is envisioned to be Bacolod’s newest central business district. This will be one of our anchor commercial establishments that will be directly connected to our iconic Upper East Mall,” said Graham Coates, first vice president and head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
The new store, which will open in March 2023, is the fourth Landers store within Megaworld’s developments, after Landers Alabang West, Landers Arcovia City and Landers Uptown Bonifacio.
