Crave Alley, a new business model that is open for franchising was launched at the Franchise Asia Philippines 2018 held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia in Pasay City on July 20 to 22.

Conceptualized by a team of talented chefs and a barista from Technolux, Crave Alley is a first in the food kiosk franchising industry in the country.

It is comprised of four concepts, each with a unique twist, namely: Quiche and Tell (quiches and tartes with a twist) by French Chef Mathieu Amet; Katsulit (assorted katsu with homemade sauces) by Chef Miguel Vengko; Fruit Skin (sorbets made with real fruits) by R&D specialist Geraldine Buela; and Conespresso (coffee in a cone) by beverage innovator Karen Quizon.

All dishes and drinks are priced within the reach of the market (millennials, young professionals, students).

Aside from offering delicious and imaginative food and drinks that are some of the firsts in the Philippines, Crave Alley affords prospective entrepreneurs an innovative and cost-effective way of getting into the franchising business.

“There is no franchise fee and no royalty. All interested franchisees have to do is purchase the equipment from the franchisor, Technolux,” says Norell Ortega, Technloux vice-president for sales at Foodservice Manila.

“All four concepts can be franchised collectively as Crave Alley or individually as a stand-alone kiosk,” Ortega says.

Full support will be given to franchisees (technical, after sales, construction, marketing, supply chain, staff uniforms, R & D among others).”

Technolux is the largest importer and distributor of kitchen and laundry equipment and small wares in the country.
