Anchorland Holdings Inc., a niche property developer, unveiled 11 projects that aim to strengthen its residential business and diversify revenue source.

Anchorland president and vice chairman Steve Li said in an interview following the annual stockholders’ meeting of the company the projects in the pipeline included four residential buildings, two warehouses, a bed space building, two hotels and two office towers.

The company is slated to launch before end-2018 Cosmo Suites in Pasay City, the company’s first venture into the bed space facility development.

The project is designed to provide for the needs of transients and call center workers from the Entertainment City complex and nearby areas along Manila Bay.

Li said the Cosmo Suites would have a total of 800 rooms at 21 square meters each, offering security, accessibility and convenience for employees looking for affordable accommodations.

He said the company believed that this kind of project would be another profitable niche with a huge upside potential.  The plan is to build more bed space projects in other areas, he said.

Anchorland is also set to launch this year 202 Peaklane, its first residential project outside Metro Manila.  Li said the twin-tower project in Davao City would have 500 fully-furnished units.

“As Anchor Land’s first residential project outside Metro Manila, the project looks to tap into another underserved market where demand for accommodation has spiraled in recent years. Aside from the standard amenities, 202 Peak Lane offers fully furnished units, the first of its kind in Davao,” the company said.

Li said for the hotel and resort development, the company was in the process of finalizing the master plan for its Boracay and Palawan projects.  The hotel-resort complex projects will cater to the growing demand for luxury accommodation and modern amenities in the scenic island destinations.

Anchor Land is also set to unveil Copeton Baysuites, its fifth project at Bay City. The 16-story, three-tower luxury condominium complex is located beside City of Dreams Manila and across the upcoming Ayala commercial complex.

“Its combination of upscale large units in one tower and more practical choices in the other two towers is well-suited to the needs of a wide-ranging market that caters to both hotel and casino employees, not to mention a steady influx of local and foreign tourists,” the property firm said.
