BatStateU eyes tie-up with Embassy of India

The Batangas State University Knowledge, Innovation and Science Technology Park boosts its entrepreneurial activities as it sets to sign a cooperation agreement with the Embassy of India.

India’s Ambassador to the Philippines Shambhu Kumaran will visit the university for the cooperation agreement on Feb. 15 in ceremonies to be held at the Convention Hall, SSC Building, BatStateU Pablo Borbon, Batangas City.

Philippine Economic Zone Authority Director-General Charito Plaza and Batangas 5th District Rep. Marvey Mariño will also take part in the event. Expected to grace the occasion virtually Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III and Agriculture Secretary William Dar.

Arranged by Nishi Kant Singh, First Secretary for Economic and Commerce of the Embassy of India and BatStateU President Dr. Tirso Ronquillo, the partnership broadly envisions to take the Philippines-India cooperation to the next level by creating an ecosystem for the leading Indian startups to establish their presence and investments in the KIST Park.
