Lokal Plate joins food delivery

Angeles City—Local food delivery provider Lokal Plate has been sending authentic Kapampangan products and delicacies to food enthusiasts to any point of Central Luzon as a way of helping merchant partners whose businesses were affected by the pandemic reach out to more consumers.

Founded by young business-minded individuals lead by Bryan So, Lokal Plate has more than 30 partner restaurants including Aling Lucing, Teresita Razon’s Halo-halo and Palabok, Prime Cut, Quisina, San Matias Ihaw-ihaw and other food shops in Pampanga.

The group expanded its food delivery service to as far as Metro Manila and some Calabarzon areas as demand for Kapampangan food and delicacies grow.

“Lokal Plate banks on locally-cooked food in Angeles City and other parts of Pampanga being the culinary capital,” So, founder and CEO of Lokal Plate said during a news conference at Vista Verde Resort here Wednesday.

Guided by noble intentions to help partner restaurants, Lokal Plate provide customer service to ensure clients satisfaction. It has mobile application for customers convenience.

“The food service sector is one of the most heavily affected industries during the lockdown. We saw restaurants closure most especially here in Pampanga. We wanted to empower them and bounce back through our business model and sell their products online and deliver it to their customers safely and swiftly. In this way, we can help Pampanga luster again as the food capital of the Philippines.” So said.

Lokal Plate is offering its business to interested resellers and franchising to start new business for P12,888. 

“Interested applicants for franchise can avail Lokal Plate package which includes access to e-commerce website, mobile apps to be launched this month of December, processing, packaging and distribution,” said So, adding that franchise holders have the opportunity to earn as much as 15 to 20 percent of the proceeds. 

Touted as the fastest growing local food delivery service in Central Luzon, Lokal Plate has more than 250 franchise holders in different parts of the region.

So said franchise holders will also earn as high as P3,000 for every successful referrals.
