“Vivant is working with the Cebu City government to track his movements in the two weeks prior to his hospitalization in order to identify people he was in close contact with for monitoring, quarantine and possible testing,” the company said.

Vivant said it would also make this information available to other affected LGUs and/or national agencies.

Vivant, controlled by the Garcia-Escaño families of Cebu, was incorporated on May 28, 1990. The company, through subsidiaries and affiliates, has interests in various companies engaged in electric power generation (renewable and non-renewable energy), electric power distribution and retail electricity supply business.
