Motorcycle ride-hailing firm JoyRide on Thursday assured passengers of safe trips and said it will not impose price surge despite the high demand.

“Riders go through very strict assessment of skills and obstacle course inside the facility,” he said.

Eala said the company was compliant with the fare metric of the Land Transportation and Regulatory Board.

JoyRide had a total of 6,907 bikers as of December. Of the total, 1,493 bikers were activated and 5,414 on-boarded bidders waiting for activation. The total JoyRide app download reached 65,000.
