Pioneering Philippine insurer Pioneer has relaunched its retail e-commerce website InsureShop, anchored by its latest travel, medical and motorcycle insurance products and designed for the always-connected Filipino.
“There’s no better time than the present to secure insurance for some of the most relevant needs of the digital generation,” said Lorenzo Chan Jr., digital transformation head of the Pioneer group.

Led by e-commerce and ride-hailing services that have enjoyed an annualized growth of 47 percent and 35 percent respectively, the Philippines’ Internet economy is expected to hit $7 billion worth of gross merchandise value by the end of 2019, according to the latest e-Conomy SEA research of Google and Singaporean investment company, Temasek.
