The Clark Freeport Zone is fast becoming the preferential destination for meetings, incentive travels, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) by many industry groups.
Clark Development Corp.’s Tourism and Promotions Division reported that 913 MICE activities were held in the Freeport in 2018.
The events attracted about 123,405 participants comprising of 122,002 local guests and 1,403 foreign attendees.
Major activities organized inside the free port in 2018 include the Aeromart Summit and the Salangian Art Exhibit that showcased the artworks of some artists in Pampanga province.
Stakeholders in the construction industry are also expected to converge this month at the Freeport with the staging of the PhilConstruct Luzon on March 28 to 30 at the Asean Convention Center.
Some 200 brands of building materials, construction equipment and cooling technologies will be showcased in the country’s leading construction show.
