Bankers Assurance Corp. teamed up with TrueMoney Philippines to sell insurance by the sachet for as low as P25 for a three-month coverage.
Dubbed as Tunay Mag-alaga Insurance, consumers are entitled to a P20,000 accidental death benefit and P5,000 accidental medical reimbursement benefit. They are also given the option of availing coverages of 4 months, 6 months or 12 months.
“We aim to help provide financial resilience through affordable and accessible insurance. In partnership with True Money, Bankers Assurance is committed to support the drive towards financial inclusion in the Philippines by developing products that are more consumer-friendly and affordable, with less documentary requirements, and offering genuine value that customers can easily access, understand and appreciate,” said Bankers Assurance president Eden Tesoro.
TrueMoney chief executive Jacqueline Van Den Ende said: “The Tunay Mag-alaga Insurance helps address the risk priorities of the low-income sector such as unexpected death. The Tunay Mag-alaga Insurance provides coverage for accidental death or medical reimbursement caused by accidents.”
The Tunay Mag-alaga Insurance is available in more than 20,000 TrueMoney Centers nationwide, making safety and security easier to reach for many Filipino families.
