FWD Life Philippines, one of the country’s fastest-growing life insurance companies, launched “US Dollar All Set Higher,” a dollar-denominated single-payment insurance protection and investment plan which gives customers the opportunity to take advantage of the long-term growth potential of international economies while giving them lifetime insurance protection.

Premiums paid for US Dollar All Set Higher plan will be invested in FWD’s new Global US Dollar Equity Index Fund. The fund provides access to a well-balanced portfolio of worldwide investments, investing in top corporations all over the world (such as Apple, Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon, Samsung, Alibaba, and Toyota), providing an optimal diversification of the policy owner’s investment.
It closely tracks the total return of the MSCI All Country World Index (MSCI ACWI) which allows investors to participate in the long-term growth potential of international economies. All policy benefits from US Dollar All Set Higher are to be paid out in US dollars.
The strategy, thus, far has an annualized performance1 of 5.08 percent since 2000, with its 5-year investment performance at 10.46 percent. During this period, the annual returns of the MSCI ACWI fluctuated between 22.80 percent (2013) and -2.36 percent (2015)
