BDO Unibank Inc. has been named again as one of the top 10 companies Filipinos aspire to work for and the only bank which made it to the influential list initiated by online recruitment site Jobstreet.com.
Based on the 2017 Jobstreet.com Top Companies Report, BDO placed 6th overall in the category “Top Ten Companies Filipinos Aspire to Work For” and was cited for its global reach, job security and work-life balance.
Jobstreet conducted a survey involving 3,658 Jobstreet.com account holders, mostly from the National Capital Region (57 percent). Among the respondents are junior executives (40 percent), fresh graduates (28 percent), supervisors and middle managers (21 percent) and those in upper management (11 percent).
When looking for an employer, Filipino jobseekers prefer job security, career advancement opportunities and promotions, and better perks and benefits.
“Job security is this year’s primary consideration among jobseekers as to their ideal employer,” Jobstreet.com Philippines country manager Philip Gioca said.
BDO has been active in recruitment events in various regions in the country to offer career opportunities to Filipinos.
