OOSM Solutions, an Australian business process outsourcing company, is investing P1.6 billion over the next four years to expand operations in four provinces in the Philippines.
“We are excited at the prospects of expanding further our operations in the Philippines, given the success we experienced during our first year. We will definitely look forward to opening more sites here,” Linda Salud-Margon, chief executive of OOSM, told reporters.
The company operates 75 seats in its Makati office.
OOSM, which is a part of the LSM BPO group in Australia, said it was planning to expand in Cavite, Batangas, Dumagauete and Palawan in the next four years.
Salud-Margon said her company would spend P400 million to build a BPO facility in Dasmariñas, Cavite which was expected to be operational by next year.
She said the facility would have a capacity of 3,000 seats. Of the total seats, 500 would be allocated for persons with disabilities.
