Fisher Mall, a Philippine retail complex, has debuted its own line of sardines called Fisher’s Best Sardines as it prepares for a major expansion of its Quezon City branch in 2026. The move reasserts the company’s connection to the Del Rosario family’s deep roots in the fishing industry.
The new product, sourced from Zamboanga fishermen, is available in two variants, Original (Tomato Sauce) and Chili Added, and is priced at P22 per can.
Fisher’s Best Sardines features Easy Open lids and is a natural source of Omega-3, targeting Filipino families seeking a high-quality, convenient and affordable staple.
“Fisher Mall has always been a reflection of our roots,” said Fisher Mall Group of Companies president Raymond del Rosario.
“With Fisher’s Best Sardines, we are celebrating the hardworking fisherfolk whose dedication makes this possible, while innovating to create products that support their livelihoods and meet the evolving needs of our customers,” he said.
The mall group concluded 2025 by expanding its retail mix with the addition of international brands, including HLA, Planet Sports, Skechers and Converse.
Despite the growing international presence, the mall continues to balance global variety with local pride, reinforcing its support for proudly Filipino products, local entrepreneurs and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Looking ahead, the planned expansion of the Quezon City branch in 2026 is set to create additional space for tenants and improve accessibility. The expansion is also intended to give local suppliers, including the Zamboanga fisherfolk, greater reach in Metro Manila.
