3 FAST executives join DTI guild to boost MSME logistics

Three executives from FAST Logistics Group, a prominent end-to-end logistics provider in the Philippines, have been appointed as members of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Supply Chain and Logistics Guild.

The guild provides pro bono guidance to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in logistics, covering areas like transport, warehousing and cold chain to help entrepreneurs overcome operational challenges and boost competitiveness.

FAST Logistics Group chief executive for logistics Manuel Onrejas Jr., vice president for strategic growth initiatives Gladys Ceniza and ColdChain business unit head Marc Anthony Dizon were invited to join the guild.

They will volunteer their time and expertise to help MSMEs optimize resources, expand market reach, and adapt to the evolving business landscape by sharing their knowledge on logistics efficiency, supply chain resilience and sustainable practices.

“Being part of the DTI Supply Chain and Logistics Guild allows us to give back by sharing our knowledge and experience with MSMEs that drive local economies,” said Onrejas, whose leadership has focused on pioneering sustainable logistics solutions and empowering MSMEs. He emphasized that the initiative resonates with FAST’s “Logistics Para sa Bayan” advocacy, working to create a more connected, efficient and inclusive logistics ecosystem for the country.

Ceniza, who has over 30 years of leadership experience and has driven strategic initiatives at FAST to expand into new market segments including MSMEs, cited the importance of strong partnerships with the government.

“By aligning with public initiatives, we can accelerate industry-wide transformation and ensure that logistics information are accessible and available for enterprises,” she said.

Dizon, an expert in supply chain and cold chain management, said the “the Guild represents collaboration in action,” which will help MSMEs strengthen their logistics capabilities and ensure that every Filipino business has access to reliable, sustainable and modern supply chain solutions.

Dizon also serves as technical consultant for the Cold Chain Association of the Philippines.

The guild is composed of business leaders from supply chain solution firms, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies and the academe.
