Mahi Center to lift Cebu tourism

AppleOne Group’s Mahi Center, a new mixed-use development, is set to play a significant role in Mactan, Cebu’s economic and tourism growth, consolidating retail, office and hospitality components near the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.

The upcoming development is strategically positioned to meet the growing needs of businesses and tourists, strengthening Mactan’s status as a key economic gateway for the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

Colliers Philippines noted that mixed-use projects like Mahi Center are in high demand despite general vacancies in other parts of Metro Cebu because they combine workspaces, retail, and leisure, offering flexible spaces and diversified revenue streams.

“With Mahi Center, we are creating more than just spaces. We are creating opportunities,” said AppleOne Group chief financial officer Leif Bajarias.

“This development is a catalyst that connects business, leisure, and tourism, enabling partners to thrive as Mactan continues to expand its place in the Philippines’ economic and tourism ecosystem,” said Bajarias.
