Convenience store operator 7-Eleven Philippines has teamed up with global artificial intelligence supply chain solutions provider Blue Yonder to enhance its store execution and streamline operations across its more than 4,300 outlets nationwide.
Under the collaboration, Blue Yonder’s store execution tools will provide near real-time visibility of on-hand inventory, mobile management functions and automated exception alerts. This is expected to help the convenience store chain improve inventory accuracy, reduce manual tasks and boost responsiveness to shifting consumer demand.
“With competition coming not only from c-stores but also from grocers and quick-service restaurants, convenience retailers today must constantly innovate,” Blue Yonder Asia Pacific president Antonio Boccalandro said.
