The information and communications technology (ICT) arm of PLDT Inc. (TEL.PS), ePLDT, has partnered with Dell Technologies and Katonic AI to launch Pilipinas AI, which they call the country’s first sovereign artificial intelligence solutions stack.
The new platform builds on ePLDT’s initial GPU-as-a-Service offering, evolving it into a complete, integrated AI solution. Hosted locally at the VITRO Sta. Rosa hyperscale data center, Pilipinas AI is designed to ensure that Philippine enterprise and government data remains secure, compliant with local privacy laws, and operates with low latency.
“By working with trusted, world-class tech partners, we are putting the right foundation in place for Philippine enterprises to embrace AI with confidence,” said Victor Genuino, president and chief executive of ePLDT and VITRO Inc., in a statement.
“Pilipinas AI gives them access to computing power and advanced tools that help accelerate adoption, streamline operations, and drive innovation at scale,” he said.
Pilipinas AI allows organizations to utilize the full potential of AI without the burden of building or managing their own infrastructure. The solution is aimed at helping enterprises overcome common barriers to adoption, including complex integration requirements and a shortage of AI expertise, enabling them to move faster, smarter, and more efficiently.
