FAST Logistics commits to Net Zero by 2050

FAST Logistics Group, a leading logistics provider in the Philippines, announced its commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, unveiling a new environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy.

The announcement was made during the 2025 SCMAP Supply Chain Conference in Manila.

The company’s decarbonization roadmap targets a 55-percent reduction in direct emissions by 2030, using 2023 as a baseline. The strategy also includes plans to cut Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, reduce waste and packaging and invest in green technologies.

“Our journey to Net Zero is a transformation of how we power, move, and manage logistics,” said Manuel Onrejas Jr., FAST chief executive for logistics.

“Every step we take to cut emissions brings us closer to a future where sustainability drives competitiveness,” he said.

FAST’s ESG strategy is centered on four priorities: customer satisfaction, a safe and empowered workplace, transitioning to a low-carbon economy, and strong governance.

The company’s operations include the Philippines’ largest warehouse network, spanning over two million square meters and a fleet of more than 3,100 trucks.

Recognized for its sustainability efforts, FAST received the 2024 Sustainability and Green Logistics Award at the SCMAP Supply Chain Excellence Awards. Earlier in 2024, the company introduced the country’s first fully electric truck, which uses solar-powered charging stations. Three of its main warehouses also operate on 100% renewable energy.

Onrejas said FAST’s commitment aligns with its mission of providing “Logistics Para sa Bayan,” or Logistics for the Nation.

“‘Logistics Para sa Bayan’ has always been about serving people and the planet,” he said. “Logistics can be a force for both progress and sustainability.”

As a sponsor of the conference, FAST also highlighted its logistics portfolio, which includes transportation, warehousing and value-added services.

FAST Logistics Group is the leading end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions provider in the Philippines.
