Radius Telecoms, Inc., a subsidiary of Manila Electric Company (Meralco), teamed up with Ignite Telecommunications Inc. to optimize efficiency and reach in delivering seamless, high-quality connectivity in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
The partnership follows Radius’ collaboration with Fort Bonifacio Development Corp. (FBDC), the developer of the Bonifacio Global City Underground Conduit Network (BGCUCN) in 2023.
The BGCUCN is a 27-kilometer underground common telecommunications infrastructure that covers the entire commercial and residential areas of BGC.
Under the agreement, Radius will lay its fiber optic cables through conduit space leased from FBDC, along with critical telecom components, to support high-performance connectivity across the 27-kilometer network stretch.
Through a unified effort between Radius and Ignite, both carriers can leverage shared infrastructure, enabling faster and efficient deployment, broader coverage and improved service delivery.
Ignite is a telecommunications and ICT company that provides high-quality internet, network and ICT services, building dynamic business environments with elevated standards.
Radius delivers its services on an end-to-end full fiber optic network covering more than 11,000 kms in the Mega Manila and nearby provinces as well as Clark and Cebu.
The company is one of the preferred connectivity providers in the Mega Manila area, offering Direct Internet Access, Global Networking, Managed and Cloud services including SD-WAN and Zero-trust networking solutions.
