Emirates employs eight Filipino pilots among its global flight crew, who operate its Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft across the airline’s extensive network. The airline emphasized the range of benefits and perks offered to its pilots.

Emirates pilots operate a modern fleet of 261 wide-body aircraft, including Airbus A380s, Boeing 777s, and the new A350.

Flying to over 148 destinations across six continents, Emirates’ pilots connect cities from San Francisco to Sydney, as well as destinations like the Maldives and Mauritius. The airline noted the diverse terrains pilots navigate and the views from 40,000 feet.

Emirates pilots receive a competitive tax-free salary with profit-sharing, along with access to a provident fund, retirement benefits, and life, medical, and dental coverage.

The airline said it provides chauffeur service to and from work in luxury cars and accommodation in spacious villas within gated communities. Pilots receive 42 annual leave days and family flight tickets in First or Business Class, as well as discounted tickets for themselves, family, and friends. An advanced rostering system allows for bidding and swapping flights.

Emirates pilots are part of a diverse community in Dubai, living alongside colleagues from over 112 countries. The airline pointed to Dubai’s infrastructure, hospitality, nightlife, family-friendly environment, international schools, and amenities as attractive to expatriates.

The Emirates Platinum Card offers pilots and their dependents exclusive benefits and discounts at various brands, retail stores, clubs, clinics, and hospitality outlets globally. Additionally, the Premium Club Membership provides access to fitness and leisure facilities in Dubai.

Since the beginning of 2022, the airline has hired nearly 2,000 new pilots.
