The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) cited the potential investment prospects from Korea’s cold chain logistics sector during a trade and investment mission in Seoul from April 6 to 9, 2025.

One notable engagement was a visit to Pyeongtaek on April 8, where PEZA officials met with Korea SuperFreeze, a leading cold storage logistics provider. The company operates a network of advanced 3PL-integrated hubs powered by LNG systems and patented decarbonization technology, serving food and pharmaceutical industries across Asia.

The mission formed part of the CREATE More Roadshow, led by PEZA with support from the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs (OSAPIEA), in collaboration with the Board of Investments (BOI) and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Seoul (PTIC-Seoul).

PEZA said the Philippine delegation engaged with around 80 Korean companies across key sectors such as electronics and smart manufacturing (EMS-SMS), electric vehicles, high-tech agriculture, clean and renewable energy, logistics and shipbuilding.
