Clark Development Corp. (CDC) said Friday it generated P77 billion in investments in 2024, with 60 percent to 70 percent expected to drive construction activities in the coming years.

“Clark is where investment translates into tangible growth,” said CDC president and chief executive Agnes Devanadera during the Philconstruct Luzon 2025 Business-to-Business (B2B) Night at Best Western Plus Metro Clark on April 3, 2025.

“These opportunities span multiple industries, benefiting both local businesses and foreign investors. The construction sector, with its multiplier effects, remains crucial in reducing poverty and driving progress,” she said.

Devanadera highlighted Pampanga’s low poverty rate of 2.9 percent, attributing much of the success to the construction industry’s role in creating jobs and stimulating economic activity.

She also shared Clark’s tourism achievements, pointing out its recognition as the region’s top tourist destination for two consecutive years.

Devanadera invited attendees to explore Clark Freeport zone’s business opportunities and assured them of CDC’s support in connecting contractors and stakeholders with potential investors.

“The B2B engagement doesn’t stop here. We are committed to fostering partnerships and ensuring Clark remains a thriving destination for investment, business, and tourism. Clark is open to all those ready to grow and contribute to its dynamic economy,” the CDC chief said.

Philconstruct Luzon 2025 will conclude on April 5, 2025 and continue to promote collaboration and advance the construction sector.
