Apple authorized reseller Digimap launched the iPhone 16e in the Philippines with a midnight event at One Ayala Concourse on March 28, 2025, the company said.
The event, attended by tech enthusiasts, celebrities and customers, featured giveaways, a DJ performance and raffle prizes.
Digimap said the first customer in line received freebies worth more than P30,000, and the next 25 received bundles valued at P15,000.
The company, part of Indonesia’s Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP) Group, said it aims to offer personalized solutions and competitive pricing.
Digimap, which opened its first store in the Philippines in March 2023, said it operates more than 20 locations nationwide and plans to expand to 25 more stores by the end of 2025.
In March 2024, it launched Digiplanet, a multi-brand tech gadget and accessory store.
The company said the Philippines has one of the highest mobile phone ownership rates in Southeast Asia, with more than 70 million Filipinos owning a mobile device.
It said Filipinos spend an average of four to five hours per day on their smartphones.
Digimap said it offers trade-in and bank installment plans.
The company aims to expand its store network across the Philippines by 2030.
