“In a constantly connected society, staying safe online has never been more important,” Mel Migriño, country head of Gogolook Philippines said.

She highlighted that the free Whoscall Premium Basic access will empower Globe customers with enhanced features to fortify their digital defenses.

“Whoscall is a global digital anti-scam application that helps users stay safe online while practicing digital hygiene,” Migriño said.

With free access to Whoscall Premium Basic, Globe customers can enjoy additional features that make protecting their digital security easier,” she added.

Eric Tanbauco, Officer-in-Charge (OIC) for Globe’s Consumer Mobile Business said protecting its customers from online threats is a top priority.

“Our partnership with Gogolook empowers our users with an added layer of security, equipping them with the tools they need to identify and block potential scams. As online fraud continues to evolve, we remain steadfast in our commitment to safeguarding our customers’ lives and ensuring they can connect safely and confidently,” he added.

Developed by Gogolook, the Whoscall app offers crucial security features designed to protect users from online threats. Its Caller ID function identifies incoming calls, effectively differentiating between safe contacts and potential scammers. The Web Checker feature scans links to ensure their safety, flagging any malicious URLs.

Additionally, ID Security monitors the Dark Web for leaked personal information, promptly alerting users to potential breaches. These features are crucial as online threats become increasingly sophisticated and prevalent across various digital platforms.

“This initiative goes beyond technology―it’s about shared advocacy,” Migriño said.

“As part of Gogolook’s mission to help Filipinos navigate the online space safely, we are offering Whoscall Premium Basic for Globe customers in a pilot run starting this April,” she added.
