Bounty Plus, a unit of Bounty Fresh Group Holdings, Inc., made history as the first company in the Philippines to receive the prestigious “Reared Without Antibiotics” (RWA) certification from Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Inc. (LRQA), a globally recognized assurance provider.

“This recognition reaffirms our commitment to delivering healthier, responsibly produced chicken to Filipino consumers while upholding world-class animal welfare and environmental standards. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to expanding our RWA-certified farms and feed mills,” said Bounty Fresh Group chief executive officer  Kenneth Cheng.

The certification was granted after Bounty Plus farms, processing plants, and feed mills met strict requirements for raising chickens without antibiotics throughout their entire lifecycle.

Unlike the “no antibiotic residue” approach—where only the final product is antibiotic-free—Bounty Plus’ “no antibiotic ever” policy ensures birds never receive antibiotics at any stage, aligning with LRQA’s rigorous standards.

Bounty Plus’ RWA certification reflects its science-driven approach to animal health, prioritizing preventive care, optimal nutrition, and strict biosecurity measures.

While not all farms have been certified yet, the company is actively expanding its antibiotic-free practices across its operations.

To help consumers easily identify antibiotic-free poultry products, all poultry from certified Bounty Plus farms will display the official LRQA RWA certification logo to cater to Filipino consumers seeking healthier, antibiotic-free protein options.

The LRQA RWA certification provides third-party validation of Bounty Plus’ leadership in responsible poultry farming and its mission to offer safe, high-quality chicken that consumers can trust.
