DigiPlus Interactive Corp. (DigiPlus), a listed gaming firm led by businessman Eusebio Tanco, saw its net income surged 207 percent to P12.6 billion in 2024 from a year ago, driven by the sustained momentum of its retail gaming segment and launch of new games.
Total revenues jumped 176 percent year-on-year to P75.2 billion.
Registered users doubled to 40 million from 20 million as of end-2023, reinforcing its leadership in the Philippine digital gaming space.
Net income in the fourth quarter jumped 93 percent to P3.8 billion as revenues surged 110 percent to P23.7 billion.
Aside from launching new games, DigiPlus said the continued expansion of its game portfolio across BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, SpinPlus and GameZone and also contributed to the company’s strong performance in 2024.
The board of DigiPlus approved the declaration of a cash dividend amounting to P0.86 per outstanding common share in the wake of the company’s strong performance last year. The dividend will be payable on April 4, 2025 to stockholders of record as of March 24, 2025.
The company said it is also a key contributor to the Philippine economy, as it paid P33.7 billion in taxes and regulatory fees, directly supporting essential public services and national development initiatives.
The gaming firm invested P100 million through the BingoPlus Foundation, benefiting nearly 120,000 individuals across healthcare, education, disaster resilience and digital responsibility.
The company’s operations also provide employment to over 3,000 people nationwide.
“Beyond our business, we take our role in nation-building seriously, with P33.7 billion paid in taxes and regulatory fees in 2024 alone. Our success directly translates into meaningful contributions to national development – funding essential public services and infrastructure that benefit millions of Filipinos,” said DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco.
DigiPlus’ stock rose 4.07 percent to close at P37.05 Friday.
