“Switching to renewable energy is a major step toward a cleaner, more sustainable future, and we commend Innoland for their leadership in this effort,” said Sheila Mina, ACEN RES vice president for commercial operations and head of account management.

AEON Center, the first development by Innoland in Metro Manila, has 19 floors, 12 of which are leasable office spaces. It boasts of a typical floor plate of nearly 3,000 square meters, alongside podium and basement parking levels and retail spaces on the ground floor.

The building, located in the prime area of Alabang Filinvest, enjoys visibility from both the Skyway and Alabang Zapote Road, with many supporting facilities in the vicinity, further enhancing its appeal.

“This initiative aligns with our vision to create sustainable and environmentally responsible working spaces. We are proud to offer our tenants a healthy, sustainable work environment and hope this encourages other businesses to make the switch to renewable energy,” said Neil Anthony Ong, Inland vice president for Manila operations.

A ceremonial unveiling of the gold “Powered by Renewable Energy” badge was held at AEON Center to commemorate this milestone.

The “Powered by Renewable Energy” badge, a proprietary seal awarded to organizations that have switched to 100-percent renewable energy through ACEN RES, is the first of its kind in the Philippines. It symbolizes recognition for companies taking proactive steps toward environmental sustainability. Alena Mae S. Flores

ACEN RES is the retail electricity unit of ACEN, the Ayala group’s listed energy platform at the forefront of the energy transition, with a rapidly growing presence across the Philippines, Australia, Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR and the United States.

The company has 6.8 gigawatts of attributable renewable energy capacity spanning operational, under-construction and committed projects.
