Honda Philippines Inc. and Propmech Corp. launched the Honda BF350, the flagship outboard engine in Honda’s marine lineup.
Honda is widely recognized for its high-performance automobiles and motorcycles, and is also a pioneer in four-stroke outboard motor technology for the marine industry.
“Honda Philippines’ partnership with Propmech Corp. began over a decade ago with a distributorship agreement. Since then, we have delivered nearly 1,000 outboard engines to the commercial market and key government agencies, including the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Philippine National Police,” said Honda Philippines Inc. president Sayaka Arai during the product unveiling Wednesday.
The BF350 is Honda’s most advanced outboard motor, featuring a powerful V8 engine designed for longer, smoother journeys.
Equipped with intelligent fuel management, Honda’s VTEC and BLAST technology, BF350 delivers efficiency, acceleration and reliability for both private and commercial marine applications.
Propmech president Glenn Tong said the new V8 outboard motor would further boost its long-standing partnerships with the government and the private sector, particularly fishermen and aquaculture operators.
“Honda and Propmech have built a strong partnership to provide reliable marine solutions in the Philippine market. The BF350 is engineered for the country’s waters and climate, ensuring top-tier performance and value for vessel owners,” he said.
With a sleek silhouette, chrome-plated trim and ergonomic controls, the BF350 ensures ease of handling.
