Lazada Philippines, through the Lazada For Good initiative, supported relief efforts in Cabuyao, Laguna by donating nearly 1,000 packs of baby diapers to families affected by back-to-back typhoons in October and November.
The diapers, provided by several Lazada sellers, including well-known brands such as Rascal + Friends, MamyPoko, EQ, Huggies, Pampers, MAKUKU Philippines, Genius, and Uni-Love, will provide relief to families with young children who were most impacted by the recent natural disasters.
“With Lazada For Good, we aim to create convenient avenues for Filipinos to contribute to those in need, particularly in times of crisis,” said Lazada Philippines CEO Carlos Barrera, emphasizing the company’s commitment to supporting Filipino communities.
The initiative serves as a direct link for Filipinos to support disaster-affected areas through donations and other relief efforts.
Lazada For Good is the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program that focuses on uplifting communities across the Philippines through partnerships with NGOs and donation campaigns. It leverages both online and on-the-ground efforts to maximize the impact of aid.
In addition to direct donations, Lazada For Good features a dedicated channel on its app, where users can purchase donation vouchers that benefit organizations such as UNICEF, Caritas Manila, ABS-CBN Foundation, and GMA Kapuso Foundation.
