An iconic nameplate synonymous with reliability and durability, the Tamaraw has been reimagined for modern needs.

Locally manufactured at TMP’s Santa Rosa, Laguna plant, the new Tamaraw is built on Toyota’s global IMV platform, retaining its classic DNA while addressing today’s mobility demands.

“We sat down and communicated with potential customers to ask what they look for in the Tamaraw. Hearing their comments and requests face-to-face regarding our vehicles inspired and reminded me and our team to make ever-better cars,” said TMP president Masando Hashimoto.

The Next Generation Tamaraw offers diesel and gas variants with customizable body styles, including utility vans, dropsides and aluminum cargo vehicles.

Highlighting its versatility, TMP also previewed special conversions such as ambulance, patrol van, refrigerated van, food truck, and camper RV.

“The Next Generation Tamaraw transforms to the body style best suited for your needs. It can convert into anything we can imagine. We made sure we truly knew our customers by going to small and medium business owners all over the country to understand their mobility challenges,” said TMP first vice president Danny Cruz.

Retail sales for select models will begin in January 2025, with more configurations arriving throughout the year.

With the tagline “Abante, Posible,” TMP envisions the Tamaraw driving progress and empowering Filipinos nationwide.
