Gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. said it is enhancing its research and development (R&D) capabilities to strengthen its position in the digital entertainment space.
DigiPlus said Thursday its ‘DigiPlus Technology Bootcamp’ is aimed at nurturing Filipino tech talent in the digital gaming sector.
“Innovation is part of our DNA at DigiPlus, and we are driven by a commitment to elevate the player experience with the right technology,” said DigiPlus chairman Eusebio Tanco.
“Our R&D team is at the heart of this transformation, and we are on the lookout for the brightest Filipino tech talents to develop the next generation of products that will shape the future of DigiPlus,” he said.
DigiPlus expanded its local development team by over 200 percent in 2023 and plans to double the growth by end-2024.
Since pivoting to digital in 2022, the company invested heavily in research and technology, allowing it to create distinctive platforms and games tailored to Filipino audiences.
The DigiPlus Technology Bootcamp is a five-month program designed to prepare aspiring tech professionals with essential skills and hands-on experience in the digital landscape.
The curriculum focuses on both technical mastery and real-world applications, incorporating the latest tools and methodologies.
The bootcamp emphasizes three main pillars: practical experience through live projects, mentorship from industry experts, and comprehensive career development, including both technical and soft skills training.
DigiPlus is hiring for various roles including backend, frontend, iOS, Android and quality assurance (QA), with a unique QA program that immerses new graduates in a technical environment from day one.
