GAC Motor Philippines, a unit of Guangdong-based GAC Group, reported a 106-percent surge in vehicle sales to 2,511 units from January to September 2024.

The brand attributed the growth to its strong product lineup and strategic expansion of its dealer network.

Leading the sales are GAC Motor’s highly sought-after models—the GS3 Emzoom, M6 Pro and M8.

Astara, the exclusive importer of GAC Motor vehicles, said the brand captivated Filipino consumers with its cutting-edge technology, advanced features and exceptional driving experiences.

GAC Motor is strategically expanding its presence in the Philippines, aiming to increase its dealership network from 29 to 38 facilities by the end of the year.

The expansion will enhance accessibility and improve customer service in key cities across the Philippines.

Adding to GAC Motor’s growing appeal is the introduction of the Emkoo Hybrid, the brand’s first hybrid model in the Philippines.

The new addition strengthens its brand positioning as a provider of sustainable and high-performance mobility solutions.

GAC Motor said its expanding product portfolio caters to a diverse range of customer preferences, offering options such as the sleek and sporty Empow sedan, the popular and stylish Emzoom crossover, the futuristic Emkoo compact SUV, the impressive GS8 and the versatile MPVs introduced this year: the family-friendly M6 Pro and the luxurious M8.
