State-run Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. said Friday the sale of the 165-megawatt Casecnan hydroelectric power plant in Nueva Ecija drew the interest of 14 prospective bidders.
PSALM moved the bid submission deadline for the privatization of the CHEPP to March 28 from Feb. 24, 2023.
PSALM rescheduled the second pre-bid conference to Jan. 25 from Jan. 11 and the deadline of submission of bidders’ comments to Jan. 27 from Jan. 13.
The company held the first pre-bid conference on Nov. 22, allowing bidders to ask questions and request clarification on concerns relative to the requirements in the bidding procedures.
The agency also moved the deadline for submission of request to bid through consortium/joint venture to Jan. 24 from Jan. 17 and the issuance of notice to the approved consortia to Jan. 31 from Jan. 26
