Semiconductor manufacturer Cirtek Holdings Philippines Corp. said two of its executives were recipients of Asia CEO Awards.
Cirtek founder and chairman Jerry Liu the 2016 Asia CEO awardees were both known for dedication, foresight and good leadership in their respective field of expertise. He said it was only this year when the two management leaders became affiliated with the firm but they already created a clear technology roadmap and strategic acquisition plan for the company.
The board of judges chose Diosdado Banatao as this year’s Lifetime Contributor (private sector) awardee. Banatao is well-known as a “pioneer and innovator in the semiconductor industry” and currently the adviser to Cirtek board of directors. He is a renowned Silicon Valley engineer, entrepreneur and venture capitalist who has been credited with developing several key semiconductor technologies.
Roberto Juanchito Dispo, the group vice chairman and president of Cirtek, was awarded as the Global Filipino Executive in 2014 Asia CEO Awards. He has been an investment banker with more than 17 years in capital raising, investments, strategic acquisition and asset management with First Metro and Metrobank Group.
“As Cirtek moves from strength to strength and scales up its business activities, technology capabilities and geographic presence, Dado Banatao’s expertise and industry foresight will be invaluable to the company’s future,” said Liu.
“Likewise, Jojo Dispo’s proven track record as an investment banker, capital markets expertise, and extensive business network will further strengthen Cirtek’s already very capable management team as it pursues strategic asset acquisitions here and abroad,” he said.
