The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) provided free medical and dental services to more than 1,100 residents of Olongapo City during a mission held at the SMX Convention Center in Olongapo City on Sept. 7, 2025.
The event, held at the invitation of Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr., offered critical healthcare services to the community.
A team of five doctors and 14 dentists, led by the FFCCCII social responsibility committee, treated 700 patients for various medical ailments and performed 110 tooth extractions.
The group also distributed 300 pairs of reading glasses to those in need.
FFCCCII vice president William Yap Castro also donated Gibi brand sports shoes, manufactured by his company, to the patients.
The mission received strong support from local leaders, including Mayor Paulino and officials from the Olongapo Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce who were present to assist.
The initiative highlights the ongoing partnership between the FFCCCII and the Olongapo local government in addressing community health needs.
