Two alumnae from Chiang Kai Shek College were awarded MVP honors during the 87th season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
Shi Hui Min, a graduate of the 2023 high school department, led Ateneo’s swimming team to victory at the New Clark City Games in November 2024.
She won gold in the 200m and 400m medley, silver in the 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle and bronze in the 200m backstroke.
Shi has been swimming since elementary school and was awarded a scholarship to Ateneo, where she continues to excel.
Quinn Kacey dela Rosa, a 2022 high school graduate, also earned back-to-back UAAP MVP awards in 2023 and 2024 for her outstanding performance in basketball.
She averaged 22.1 points, 16 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game, far surpassing her competitors.
Both athletes continue to make a name for themselves in their sports, bringing pride to their alma mater and inspiring future generations of athletes.
