TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan— Governor Manuel Mamba filed his Certificate of Candidacy for reelection at the local office of the Commission on Elections here.
Mamba is running under the Nacionalist Party with his nephew, Francisco “Franco” P. Mamba III, the eldest son of Tuao Mayor Francisco N. Mamba Jr., as vice governor.
A physician by profession, Mamba is seeking his last term as governor of the province.
“I have this vision for Cagayan province as a place to be proud of, a livable and peaceful locale to live in and a progressive locality,” he said.
Under his CAGANDA 2025 program of governance, Mamba seeks to achieve the concreting of all provincial roads in Cagayan as well as connecting the towns and barangays through roadworks and bridges, among others.
