As a solution to Internet connection problems during power outages or when on the go, Globe offers two pocket Wi-Fi devices with a built-in battery that lasts up to 48 hours.
“In times like this, staying online is more important than ever as it enables us to continue learning, working, and in the case of power outages or interruptions, stay informed and reachable,” says Darius Delgado, Globe vice president and head of broadband group.
Globe MyFi LTE is a personal Wi-Fi device with speeds up to 42Mbps and power that lasts up to two days in a single charge. Should the juice run out, it can be charged through a power bank.
For those who require faster speeds, the rechargeable Globe MyFi LTE-A can reach up to 100Mbps, according to Globe. It is likewise equipped with a 3300mAh battery.
Globe MyFi LTE is priced at P899 but is currently available for only P799 at Globe Online Store until June 30, while MyFi LTE-A is at P1,899. Both devices come with free Sur4All99 which gives users 9GB all-access data valid for seven days.
Both pocket Wi-Fis are also available at Globe’s Lazada and Shopee official stores.
