Goldstar Bus Transit Inc. and Ceres Transport Inc., two companies under the Yanson Group of Bus Companies, held their separate annual stockholders meetings on February 1, 2021.
During the meeting of GBTI, Leo Rey V. Yanson, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Atty. Collin Derk Y. Isidto, Hernan B. Omecillo and Danny O. Lorenton were re-elected as members of GBTI’s board of directors.
Meanwhile, Ginnette Y. Dumancas, Leo Rey V. Yanson, Olivia V. Yanson, Charles M. Dumancas, Rey C. Ardo, Daniel Nicolas P. Golez, Arvin V. Villaruel, Anita G. Chua, Joseph Ellery L. Villanueva, Hernan B. Omecillo and Alfredo O. Ligo were re-elected as members of CTI’s board of directors.
The newly elected directors of both corporations also held an organizational meeting where Leo Rey V. Yanson was re-appointed as chairman of the board and president, while Olivia V. Yanson was re-appointed as corporate secretary and treasurer.
Stockholders Roy V. Yanson and Ricardo V. Yanson Jr. did not attend both meetings despite the due notice given them, according to the management of GBTI and CTI.
Roy and Ricky, along with their sisters Emily V. Yanson and Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez are believed to be in other countries, the management of the two companies said in a statement.
Lawyers of GBTI and CTI said the four siblings—Roy, Celina, Ricky and Emily—were facing several outstanding warrants of arrest in Bacolod City.
They face cases for alleged carnapping and grave coercion. Warrants of arrest were also issued against Emily for the alleged crimes of perjury and falsification of another corporation’s general information sheets, according to the statement.
It is the same falsified GIS that is being used by Y4 to claim their majority ownership in the companies, the management of the two bus companies said.
CTI and GBTI are the two companies within the Yanson Group operating in Luzon.
CTI and GBTI chairman and president Leo Rey V. Yanson said that despite the challenges they faced in 2020, the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remains committed to providing the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation.
