“Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend this event today. I wish I could see you in person, but due to the pandemic we have to bear with a virtual gathering for now,” said Acadsoc COO Johnny Zhang in a recorded message in the event back on Dec. 23, 2020.

In spite of the hurdles the company had to face, Zhang expressed his gratitude to those who stayed by their side.

“We want to thank the Acadsoc teachers and staff who stuck with us despite the challenging year,” he added.

The COO also noted that while they faced difficult times, there were also moments where the company celebrated major achievements.

“In October and last month, Acadsoc received 2 round billion level funding. The additional fund allows us to expand our business more rapidly,” Zhang said.

“This means more jobs for teachers and the staff for the coming months,” he continued.

Furthermore, Acadsoc successfully launched a CEFR course back in May which has been certified by Ascentis from the UK.

In light of the restrictions imposed especially here in the Philippines, where the country is entering close to a year into the lockdown, Acadsoc continues to promote a work-from-home setup and has promised to provide better customer service for 2021.

Likewise, Acadsoc has revealed that it will continue to give back to the community by focusing on their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts “to improve the lives of our colleagues in the Philippines and the people from the Philippines.”

In 2020, Acadsoc also participated in donation programs to those whose livelihood has been affected by the pandemic. Already planning for more programs in 2021 in order to become socially responsible.

“For the upcoming year, there will be a whole lot of positive changes, improved class system, more students, which means higher earning opportunities,” Zhang pointed out.

“I hope these achievements will motivate everyone to keep going forward,” the COO added.
