Filipina drag queen Marina Summers is set to release a new track with fellow drag queen and “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs. the World” alumna Lemon. Titled “Pool Party,” the track, produced by singer-songwriter Kieran Armitage, will be released on Sept. 6.
In the track’s announcement on social media, both Summers and Lemon shared their excitement, with fellow drag queens such as Drag Race Philippines judge Jiggly Caliente and Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World Season 4 first runner-up Aurora Matrix also expressing their support.
“Pool Party” will be Summers’ latest release since her single “BORN TO DO DRAG” on March 9, which she co-wrote with Paw Castillo and was produced by Moophs. Her other songs include “Divine,” “ride 4 me,” and “AMAFILIPINA.”
Summers recently concluded the Canadian leg of her world tour, with previous stops in Singapore and Bangkok. She will resume her tour in October with performances in Hawaii, Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, Chile, and Costa Rica.
