THE Imus City government on Friday formally opened four new school buildings with 68 classrooms in two barangays just three days before resumption of classes nationwide.
Imus Mayor Alex Advincula and Cavite Rep. Adrian Jay Advincula led the inauguration rites for the new schools in Barangays Pahayang Pag-asa and Malagasang.
With the new buildings, the section student population decreases from one per 80 to just one per 65 pupils.
“It’s good that the local government of Imus and the national government are helping each other to build these 3 large classrooms for the students of Imus, so that we can provide them with proper and comfortable classrooms so that they can study properly in their respective schools.” Advincula said.
