Real estate tycoon Manuel Villar is unlocking the next phase of development for the 3,500-hectare Villar City that will make it the new center of gravity in Metro Manila.
VIllar City, VIllar’s most ambitious project to date, spans across 15 towns and cities in Metro Manila and Cavite province.
“One year after the launch of Villar City, we are now solidifying plans for two golf courses, a church, an events arena, a prestigious university, an integrated entertainment complex, a partnership with a renowned hospital, and additional road networks to improve travel across Cavite and Metro Manila, among other enhancements,” Villar said.
In terms of land area, Villar City is much larger than the Makati and Bonifacio Global City (BGC) central business districts.
Sustaining commitment
Villar said the new phase underscores his commitment to sustaining the growth of Villar City as an emerging megalopolis.
Launched in August 2023, the extensive integrated development aims to become a vibrant hub where economic, lifestyle, cultural and recreational activities converge.
Nestled among 10 million trees, 100 cafes and verdant parks, the community will feature modern districts like a CBD, Tech Valley, university town and premier lifestyle hub, all designed to meet future demands.
“We carefully selected each component of Villar City to ensure future residents and workers can enjoy a safe, healthy, modern, and comprehensive environment, with proximity to nature, ample open spaces, and access to top-tier facilities and recreational options,” Villar said.
Multifaceted city
The latest development phase anticipates the future institutional and recreational needs of Villar City’s growing communities. The introduction of golf courses, an arena and an entertainment complex including a casino will provide opportunities for relaxation and leisure. The university and hospital will offer convenient access to education and healthcare within the expansive community.
These additions will complement previous projects within the mega city, including the pivotal 10-km, 10-lane Villar Avenue connecting Las Piñas, Bacoor and Dasmariñas City’s university district in Cavite and the acquisition of the Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway.
Villar City’s residential offerings such as the Forresta community and Forresta Cafe, along with the upscale Brittany Hotel, further enhance its allure as a premier destination.
Close to 900 hectares of the 3,500-hectare Villar City have been activated or developed by property unit Vista Land & Lifescapes Inc. These developed areas are home to neighborhoods, shopping complexes and offices.
