Baras, founded in 1595 and recognized as a town in 1614, has a rich history interwoven with its religious and cultural heritage. The Baras Kasarinlan Eco-Park, the first gender-sensitive park in Rizal province, features historic monuments and recreational facilities, including the Philippines’ first floating solar farm. The town’s churches, particularly the Baras Church, which is the oldest dedicated to St. Joseph in CALABARZON, symbolize its deep-rooted faith and resilience. The Tromba Festival, celebrating health, healing, and gratitude, reflects the community’s collective spirit. The descent offers a refreshing swim in any of its four magnificent waterfalls. The town also celebrates the annual Hane Festival, which showcases Tanay’s vibrant tourism, rich agricultural produce, and commitment to environmental protection. Historically, Jalajala has been a quiet yet essential part of Rizal’s development. The town’s history is deeply intertwined with its agricultural roots, reflecting the enduring spirit of its residents. The Llano Farmers Multi-Purpose Cooperative offers high-quality dairy products, while the Sipsipin Multipurpose Cooperative focuses on fish processing.

Morong is renowned for the St. Jerome’s Parish Church (SJA), a 17th-century Baroque masterpiece with intricate carvings and a majestic bell tower.
