National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Arsenio Balisacan administers the oath of office to Dr. Claire Dennis Mapa on June 1, 2024 who has been reappointed as the national statistician and civil registrar general of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Prior to joining the PSA in 2019, Dr. Mapa served as dean and professor of Statistics at the School of Statistics, University of the Philippines.
