Lanson Place Mall of Asia opens doors to guests in Manila
Lanson Place Hospitality Management (LPHM) has finally opened its doors to the Philippine market with the grand opening of Lanson Place Mall of Asia, Manila on April 24.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the establishment’s inauguration was led by Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC) President Elizabeth Sy, SMHCC Executive Vice President Peggy Angeles, Wing Tai Asia Director for Corporate Development Karen Li, LPHM Chief Executive Officer Michael Hobson, LPHM Director for Operations Mark Burns, and Lanson Place Mall of Asia Manila Vice-President and General Manager Laurent Boisdron.
Also present as Guests of Honour were SM Prime Holdings Executive Committee Chairman Hans T. Sy and SM Investments Corporation Executive Director Harley T. Sy.
Serving as the hospitality management firm’s joint venture with SMHCC, Lanson Place Mall of Asia is a hotel and service residences situated in the city of Pasay. It takes on a contemporary design with elements from Filipino culture, exuding a feeling of comfort and sophistication with a captivating facade inspired by ocean waves.
“We try to recreate the home away from home feeling which, in turn, makes our guests feel valued and special for our anticipation of their needs and by taking care of things seen or unseen,” said Hobson.
Boasting a total of 389 rooms for short or long-term stays, Lanson Place offers a variety of accommodations which range from Deluxe Rooms, Superior Rooms, Hotel Suites, Studio Residences, and Suite Residences with one or two bedrooms. Its Panorama suites have their own balconies which offer a stunning view of the bay.
Each hotel unit has a complimentary Nespresso machine and toiletries from the Appelles Green Collection which are imported from Australia. Each room can either have a king-sized bed or two single beds, depending on the guest’s choice.
Compared to the hotel rooms, service residence apartment units feature their own kitchen and kitchen appliances along with a washer and dryer, built for those who will be staying for a minimum of 14 days. Its rooms also have bigger cabinets for more storage.
Lanson Place also features several dining options guests can choose from such as its in-house restaurant Cyan Modern Kitchen, Madeleine High Tea, BLK12 Café | Bar, co-working space Bytes, and the Edge Pool Bar.
It also has a variety of facilities and amenities such as its rooftop infinity pool with a breathtaking view of Manila Bay, a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, a lounge for long-staying guests, an executive boardroom for business meetings, a grand ballroom for events, and a kid’s corner filled with fun toys and activities for children.
Lanson Place Mall of Asia serves as SMHCC’s first venture into serviced apartment and hotel property.
