THE Philippine Drug Envorcement Agency on Friday said it has seized illegal drugs, controlled precursors and essential chemicals (CPECs), and laboratory equipment worth P43.03 billion from July 2022 to April 30 this year.
The confiscated narcotics included 5,697.84 kilos of shabu, 77.81 kilos of cocaine, 55,088 pieces of ecstasy and 3,907.17 kilos of marijuana.
The agency’s latest data also showed some 6,178 high-value targets were arrested as well as 92,901 other drug personalities.
PDEA was able to dismantle 981 drug dens since the Marcos administration began. At least 28,662 barangays have been declared drug-cleared.
