Actress Kim Chiu graces the latest digital cover of Metro.Style, opening up about her healthy lifestyle and the overwhelming success of her recent series, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.
Chiu, who is also hailed as Metro Body 2024, emphasizes the importance of a strong mindset for achieving fitness goals. Referencing the popular Netflix show Physical: 100, she shares, “Your mind controls everything you do – what you eat, how you exercise, the choices you make.”
“I truly learned that mindset is the strongest muscle you have, not your biceps or glutes. It’s your willpower,” the actress and TV host added.
A self-proclaimed foodie, Chiu admits her love for indulging, particularly in carbs like rice, noodles, and bread. To balance her cravings, she emphasizes the importance of cardio workouts. “I can’t really stick to diets or calorie counting,” she confesses. “That’s why I really prioritize working out. I love meat too – beef and pork are my favorites.”
Beyond fitness, the digital magazine feature also focuses on Chiu’s latest project, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim. Starring alongside Paulo Avelino, the series has garnered a positive reception in the Philippines and other territories where it’s currently streaming.
“I’m so proud of how What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim turned out,” Chiu beams. “It’s a huge Korean series with a massive Filipino fanbase. The cinematography is stunning, and it’s definitely one of the projects I’m most proud of.”
